Well, While camping I have split wood AND spread peanut butter & jelly on a sandwich with the same knife. Not sure I'd be able to get my hatchet in the peanut butter jar.![]()
Didja kill the mole with the bow? LOL or hurl the 'hawk at him?
Cool pic
He died of natural causes (a critter got him) but he was kind enough to pose for me.

Finally, the Mystery of the Mole is resolved! thanks bro
... for me a folding saw (i like the bahco laplander a lot) is much better than a hatchet (faster, safer, and a lot quieter)...paired up with any becker you can almost do anything with that combo.
No prob - glad I didn't post this picture for BK9 and 'hawk...

Umm that 'hawk looks like it would fit into a peanut butter jar just fine!!
You could always just split the peanut butter jar...or baton it. Has anyone tried to baton a jar of peanut butter yet? Might get an interesting patina / wear marks doing so.![]()
what about the bird? I'm more interested in the animal issues than a knife vs hatchet debate![]()
I would leave the Axe at home just bring a chain saw for cutting bigger wood.
