Get a Margarita

I am not mad or frustrated about it either. I was just curious because I had received the notification and wanted to make sure it didn't get lost, or stolen off my porch:) -Burton

I am glad you guys are not, but I am, it makes me look bad, I have always thought that a man's reputation is worth more than any silver or gold. Fact of the matter, the PO is making ME look bad.
I paid, printed and attached labels, dropped off at a drop center, PO picked up and EIGHT boxes are lost!!!!!!! What the Heck is going on with that?
I may have time today, just got in from out of town appointment. But have to pick up grandchildren today from school. Time is short, know I can do it Monday.
I will keep you posted,
Jim

Sounds to me like some ticked off postal work said screw carrying the load :D No heartburn with me, Jim, it's all good. Hope you find 'em...or at least get your money back!

I called today and they asked that I bring in my electronic shipping information so they can track, what a joke. Perhaps I can get back the shipping or even charge them face value for the material. I will reship if not found within a reasonable time. I do have proof they picked up, two witnesses at Post Net helped load onto truck. At least that is what they told me.

Keep you posted, I am going to need a Margarita after this for sure.
Maybe a pitcher.
Jim

I actually saw the boxes today, they were "found" at the first PO after pickup, someone loaded them in a buggy and evidently night shift did not want to handle the heavy boxes, got shoved out of the way. Just a few more days guys.

I can't blame them too much, I printed the labels with PP as you know. PP only has one option for flat rate boxes up to 70 pounds. I was shipping and have been shipping with those labels. Someone caught it, set the boxes aside and "thought" they had notified me of postage due. They did not notify me, nor even tell my son when he went there last Friday to check on them. They were pushed back against the wall and no one could find them. After raising cain with Postmaster, they "found" them and then said I needed to add postage which I did. Now they are on their way, I have been shipping with PP for over 2 years and all the labels have been the same. I just hope they don't come back and ask for more money. From now on all labels will be printed on the USPS site.

Sorry for the delay guys,
I did not know,
Jim

Well if you can get away with less cost, which you could for 2 years, good for you! If you finally get "caught" (more like told you were wrong and had to fix it) then that's too bad for the rest of your boxes.

Glad it's sorted out though.

Actually PP needs to fix their shipping software, to give consumers the ability to choose the right size box. Instead of lumping all the boxes into one price.
Guess I will have to raise the prices.

Hi Jim,

I've never really cared for the saying, "no good deed goes unpunished," but sometimes you have to wonder. Thanks for bulldogging this through.

All the best, Phil

Me too! Me too! Well, my wife said so...I'm up in Massachusetts.

There was a flat rate box at my door when I got home today. I suspect it's the G11 as it has considerable mass and dern near took out my toe when I tried to boot it out of the way. Thanks a million Jim!!!

5 outta 8???? still waiting on receipt confirmation? Phil in Hawaii got his, how did they do that?:confused:
