Hey Folks,
Here is an improved version of ZA CHOPPA I posted some time back. OAL is 14.5" with a 9.75" forged 80crv2 blade. .250+" at the handle with a nice distal taper to the tip. The blade has been given an etched primeval finish. The handle scales are black g-10 with toxic green spacers and copper fasteners. Comes with one of my tactical leather sheaths and soft side case for storage. As always this knife is furnished with a written lifetime guarantee.

Hey Dave,

I just wanted to drop a comment on this. I really like this knife overall, but the blackened finish on the blade turned me off. I just felt that overall, it was too dark. That's really my only negative viewpoint. If it had been a more natural finish, or something markedly lighter, I would find it very hard not to snap this up! I have a tendency to use my knives pretty hard, so this looks to be a good fit for my "normal" usage. Love the sheath, and the copper accents. I wonder how hard it would be to maintain the copper over time, to keep it looking nice?
 
New here, but "snooping " around a lot. Dave, I love too see your work. I've showed my wife (she likes knives, hates that they cost money) Anyways, told her I am gonna get a knife from you, and have started to put a D.Wenger knife fund jar on our bar top. Our friends & family have used it as a "TIP JAR" when they stop for visits. I WILL be talking to you before too long about a knife purchase!! Colin, I appreciate your comments and will take them to heart. Sometimes it's hard to tell what people will want. I just make what I think looks good.
