Get ready for the Ginsu hunting and Fishing knives

The little drop point doesn't look half bad. Advertising copy is as bad as Cold Steel's

The hunting knives look like solid basic designs (damascus?).

Anyone own/handled one?

BTW - I have no issues with GINSU knives as they haven't been that bad of a value in my experience. But, I think they may be expanding outside their market area.

Interesting, they actually provide some real info. The damascus is 33 layer 420/430 with a VG-1 core, cryo treated. Sharpened at 10 degrees per side, and they recommend a fine finish for resharpening - 7000-8000 grit on ceramics, diamond, or waterstone. They also give CATRA ratings (though nothing to compare it to)

I agree that they do look like usable tools for sure.

I'm not sure I know anything about "VG-1" steel . . .

I tell what, I have two Ginsu knives on my magnetic knife rack and they are many years old... They have never been touched up or sharpened either. Used one this morning to slice some panera 3 cheese bread. Zips right through it still... I WOULD TRY both the Clip point Fixed and the Folder... They look like nice knives... I would like to see some pricing???? Thanks for the heads up!!!

I saw these on the back of an issue of BLADE a while back...they look kind of awkward to me.
