Well, tis the season when my house starts to sound like the sick ward at a hospital so I figured I would share my "get right" soup for you guys.
This soup is loaded with all kinds vitamins and minerals, protein, and fats. It's like taking a multivitamin in soup form. Perfect for when your feeling "not so fresh".
I don't really measure exactly; nor do I really spice it up much. Feel free to add spices you like. (we have different tastes here so I make it really spicy after it's in the bowl)

You are going to need a slow cooker and your favorite Becker knife.

Then a package of carrots.

Place all of that in the cooker and then cook up a full package of bacon.

Transfer the bacon to the cooker and cook a full package of chicken thighs in the bacon grease.

I only needed to get food poisoning once from chicken. Now I always cook chicken to the point right after well done but before jerky. Cook yours as you see fit.

Now stir it all up in the cooker and let it sit for at least five hours.

I didn't get pictures of this part but a full package of baby spinach and one each of chicken and beef broth were added as well.

Now while it's cooking, sit back and admire the new patina.

That does look tasty and if your body is lacking anything, that should cover it.

Thank you for posting that recipe and those pics are great. I like to cook, infact I make dinner every night, so I'll have to whip that up sometime next week.

Needs sriracha! Looks good though, mail me a bowl if you don't mind. ;)

Added to shopping list for this weekend. Going to give it a go because it looks delicious (minus the mushrooms). I am kind of worried about the proportions of cinnamon and pepper, but I will leave it to trial and error.

Looks good Twolf! All that garlic and onion should kick any funk out of the system. :)

Fascinating combination. Looks great - thanks for sharing.
My eldest would probably disagree with you on the "not spicy" with all that onion, garlic and cayenne. But the way she loves bacon, she may overlook it.

I'll have to give it a try when it gets cold out here.

Man that looks great, need to get me a slow cooker! I love stuff like this, always very tasty.

Thanks for posting this. I am going to make it for the family this week now.

Great recipe! I'm no nutritionist, but I'm convinced stuff like that helps prevent getting sick in the first place :)

Being a good Midwestern boy, I'm going to make this soon and add some taters.

Hmmm yeah... that sounds good.

Man that looks great, need to get me a slow cooker!

Yes, you do... they're awesome. Do all the veggie prep the night before, brown up the meat real quick in the morning and let it all simmer on low while you're working all day... boom, fresh hot supper with very little fuss

looks good. i am going to give this one a try. thanks for sharing TW.
