Awww! Bummer man! Sorry bout your trip! We finally got a bit af that rain to break our two month dry spell. It even got down to 90 degrees the day it rolled through. I heard there was a hurricane "Danny" brewing up yesterday but expected to diminish to storm soon. Yall been lucky this season so far. Its been pretty mild so far.

Harry normally builds up sheaths the old way with extra leather skivved in on both sides of blade so that handle and guard thickness do not press belt loop away from sheath...i simply had him cut what would have kept going and then been folded back to make the loop cut off about an inch above the sheath mouth.....and what would have been a retaining strap cut same length and small leather pad stitched on......the pressure of the back of the sheath keeps the tab engaged with guard (this is an IWB rig so body pressure as well), while natural draw and hand motion disengages the tab.....all leather.....molds well to body for minimal printing and i can carry up to 7" blades with such sheaths....
