Gettin' Jiggy With It - Jigged Bone Photos

Peach Seed Jigged Bone by Case - hard to beat

Here's some curious jigging. The top Sowbelly is jigged to resemble perhaps stag but was not colored. It is called Vintage Bone by Case and Case goes so far as to preceed their model numbers with Vintage Bone with a V such as this knife - VTB6339. The bottom Sowbelly is jigged like the top Sowbelly and is meant to imitate Stag. It is called 6.5 Bone Stag by Case and colored with an orangeish coloring. Case has released other knives over the last couple/three years with Vintage Bone and still preceeds the model numbers of those knives with a V.

Something interesting (interesting to me anyway) is that the two knives in the first picture and the top knife in the second picture were made in 2002. Case named the bone in the top picture Peach Seed Jigged Antique Bone and the bone on the first knife in the second picture just Jigged Vintage Bone.

I took this picture for the GEC First Five Years thread, but then this thread popped up and I decided it belonged here too.

I'm not triggered by GEC's uniform jigging patterns of late, but it would be pretty neat if they'd bring this style back every once in a while.
