Gettin' Jiggy With It - Jigged Bone Photos

Hickory n steel Hickory n steel Still think it is Peach Seed, for me Pickbone tends to be more random with clear difference in sizes, shapes of the picks.

As your knife is a Schrade, a study of catalogues 1920s-60s might see if they refer to it as Peach Seed. I certainly have hear it referred to as this in discussions on jigged bone . See the thread What Constitutes Good Bone Jigging. I've taken a doctored photo (p.bucket implosion) from that thread where an ex member clearly refers to it, and it looks like your knife's jigging. Lot of people here know much more than I, try @Mike Robuck or waynorth waynorth ?

I'll take your word for it.
I only questioned because the peach seed bone I'm used to is from Case and is a bit different.
Have to agree with Will, pretty sure that is peach seed, very different from pickbone. Charlie waynorth waynorth has a great picture of the evolution of Schrade bone from pick bone to pre peach seed to peach seed. I have it saved somewhere but, can't seem to locate it right now.

Thanks for the picture, that definitely settles it.

So would you happen to have an idea on dates for their peach seed bone ?
All I know is that my knife has the '17-'46 tang stamp, but assume it's on the later end and that the bone would be an indicator.
