Hey. I was wondering, are there any makers who have experience with this kind of work? Making a 10" folder, or longer, overall size, with a 0.3"+ inch thickness blade.
Reason I'm asking is because I came across the "TankKnives" designs earlier, but they only make for fun, and you can't reserve or order from them -- they make some folders with 0.3+ inch blades. Now, I know that is not practical or anything.
Here is an excerpt from one of their ads, "Beast TankKnives framelock avaliable. O1 toolsteel blade, titanium lockside with stainless steel lockface, micarta scale. 9.8inch opened, 5.6inch closed, 3/8inch blade thickness. 350 plus shipping"
Now -- since they don't take on orders, or anything, I was wondering if anyone knows of any other knife makers who can do something like this for a similar price?
