I now have a PE Endura 4 and its working great. I even bought one in white.

The thing I would like to do now is to buy a fully-serrated Endura 4.

But the reason that I didnt do it in the first place is because as far as I know I cant sharpen the knife.

Where/how do you fully-serrated knife guys sharpen your knives?

Do you send them back to spyderco?

You always have the option to send it to Spyderco with $5 to have them sharpen it. If you wanted to sharpen it yourself, you'd have to get rods or something to get between the serrations (the Sharpmaker rods should do it).

Spend the money on a Spyderco Sharpmaker. It works great for serrated Spydies. You will need to send it back to Spyderco once in a while to get a fresh factory sharpening job, but we are talking YEARS in between trips. Also, Spyderco is one of the very, very few knife companies that will sharpen their own serrated knives.

I just use a Gatco Triceps short 3.5" ceramic rod.
It has three different sized edges but I gust use the big round one and just draw the knife down it really quickly a bunch straight up and down. and then switch sides.
It gets my endura delica and Tenacious as well as all my other serrated knives wicked sharp.

The best way I have found is to touch up the edge with the sharpmaker rods then buff away the burr with a cotton or felt buffing pad loaded with some compound. Its quick, easy, and puts a razor sharp edge on serrations every time.

I use a Lanskey system, they come with triangle fine and superfine stones. I can get my fully serrated Saver Salt to shave like nothing.

Buy a Spyderco Sharpmaker and watch the video that comes with it. Serrated edges are not hard to sharpen but you must do it the right way. I have found that my SE Delica and my SE Salt 1 go a long time without a need for sharpening.
