Getting a knife for my fiance?

My girlfriend is obsessed with the color green. So I got her a kershaw Scallion in green. It is small enough she will carry it and it goes with her most places. She also likes the AO feature and seems pretty happy with it overall.

It's cool with me---I guess I got reading a little too fast this morning. :D

Hope you're enjoying the Buckeye state---it's not too bad of a place to be, in my opinion; I guess the winters could be warmer, and the summers cooler, but everybody could say that!

Anyways, if you're not looking for a pink knife, how about something else nice and attractive from the Spyderco line---a white FRN Dragonfly. Compact, lightweight, a great performer, with beautiful, pure-looking white FRN handles. She could wear it with her wedding dress! :)
 
I recommend that whatever knife you get her, get her some flowers too. C'mon, now's not the time to get cheap! Women have this crazy point system and flowers always rate higher than knives.
 
Last knife I bought the wife was a Spyderco Kiwi MOP. She LOVED it. Carries it everyday as her purse EDC.
 
Thanks for all the help guys.....I finally settled on a Kershaw Leek with the beadblasted satin handle and blade. As for other stuff....I do have something planned. You see, I'm in the Army, and I'm gonna get her this bear.....its all dressed up in ACU's and has boots and a little beret on and all....gonna get my name embroided on the spot where the nametape goes on real ACUs, on the bears uniform....then, gonna get her fav chocolate (peanut butter twix), put the twix in one hand, then put her brand new Leek in the bears other hand.....she'll walk in, see the bear, then the knife, then the chocolate, then its mega brownie points for me .....:D j/k...I def can't wait to see the look on her face tho.
 
Can't go wrong with the Leek. Although I bought the wife a Kiwi last year and a pocket -sized fixed custom the year before, both of which she thoroughly enjoys, she really liked playing with the AO feature of the last Leek I purchased. Good choice.
 
got my gf an HI tin chirra for Xmas, a damascus bodice dagger for her bday, a purple (fave color) Mouse-lite for edc, and a japanese style (hamon, cord wrap/rayskin handle) small blade with crossdraw kydex just because.

I'm stumped for Valentine's :D
 
Get her a kitchen knife and a cookbook. Be thoughtful and mark the pages with your favorite dishes. Give it to her early in the morning so she can use it to cook you your favorite meal when you get home. Give her plenty of time to prepare that perfect meal by going out for drinks with your friends for several hours after work before you come home.

Sounds like a good way to get put into the doghouse....especially on Valentines Day....:p
