  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Getting a laser

your 5 to 10$ per logo seems low to me JT. To get something engraved at the mall you're looking $20.

Agreed. I usually charge 20-50$ per logo depending on how intricate the logo is and how much work I need to do to make it a laserable image. On a side note, has anyone ever engraved on
Dymond wood handles? Thanks in advance.

It has to be affordable for knife makers to use it, you know we are all cheep skates. Once your logo is programmed and in the system it’s just a matter of lining up your blade and pushing go.

I have a couple of lasers. 2 YAG lasers that I don’t really use since got a fiber optic laser and a CO2 laser. I do custom logos etc and that price is for single pieces. If it’s a production with quantity, prices are definitely lower.

Yes, that’s why production amounts are cheaper. Once I have the art in the system, it’s much easier. But I do a lot of customizing and grading which cost more because of the time put in, same as the time put in to make knives
