I just had my first threat avoided warning as I logged on.Something about exploit Blackhole.

Something on this site is infected, today I got this warning from AVG before I logged onto BF-

"Exploit Blackhole Exploit Kit (type 2087)";"ggghhhhhhhh.c0m.li/main.php?page=b1283ebc4a63b98d";"Object was blocked";"12/18/2011, 9:10:07 AM";"file";"C:\Program Files\Avant Browser\avant.exe"

Yesterday I got this warning too when I went here,

"Exploit Blackhole Exploit Kit (type 2087)";"hdfhfdhdfhdfhhdf.c0m.li/main.php?page=b1283ebc4a63b98d";"Object was blocked";"12/17/2011, 9:28:33 AM";"file";"C:\Program Files\Avant Browser\avant.exe"

Banners Aye- I clear the cookies and stuff and it's back. I log in and all is good.

My defense is a PC so slow it's below the minimum spec of anything modern.

I had a weird experience with "recent posts." I knew for certain there were posts AFTER the ones displayed. Wondered if it was a site error.

I've been gettiung a virus warning for the last 2 days. I use Internet Explorer and Kasperskt. Kaspersky is showing the problem as being in the ad programs. It shows it as a trojan horse , HEUR. The link is quite lengthy and I can't cut and paste it.

Kaspersky updates hourly and denies the file access to my computer.

When my wife and I are both online I'll try to get the link to you. I can read it while she types it. It was just when I logged on but now it is when I change subforums.

I am using the same antivirus as above and i am getting the exact same message and it is only happening on this site so something is not right on the forums here

Now this is really getting weird. I'm a platinum member and wouldn't see any banners even if Adblock didn't stop them. I haven't logged out. I'm running Firefox. When I clicked on this thread I got a page from Firefox that said:

If I click on the "ignore this warning" button I can get to the thread, but it looks like I'm going to have to click that every time I load a thread, or disable that warning function.... (I am fearless; I'm quite sure the 0 pages that host malware can't get through my defenses....)

I tried following a google link to BF and it wouldn't let me in. It says:

Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer!

And doesn't even give you the option of continuing.

Same here.. Just got a warning from Firefox that this is an attack site. I will look through my security logs.

I'm wondering if maybe some troll that just got banned reported BF as an attack site or something and got us blacklisted in all the antivirus libraries.

Now I'm getting the mallware warning and have to ignore warning to view any pages or posts. I'm using a mac with safari. When you check the link just like the other guys say it takes you to google and reports on attacks, and none are listed.

Im using Mozilla firefox and NOD32 anti-virus. No flags there I got a google block this morning. My malware detect and virus progys run every night.

I am running No Script in Firefox, so I have never gotten a warning minus the google message. After looking over some of the reports, I can tell you that the following:

The virus/trojan runs from this IP: 78.111.51.119

There is a security site that has already logged a bunch of information on it here: http://www.malwaredomainlist.com/mdl.php?search=78.111.51.119

So, this is a real threat, however, if you are running an good virus scanner and other browser protection programs, you should be okay. Without letting it try to infect my own system and watch what it does, there isn't much more information to provide.

Friggin banner network.

I'm getting too, with Chrome and AVG. Think I'll stay away for a while until the dust settles.

I'm getting a malware warning and now I absolutely cannot even open a BF page on my laptop. Had to post this from my iPhone. Lame.

Friggin banner network.
I am a Gold member so don't get any banners. I just started getting the same messages Cougar reported above using Firefox, so switched to Google Chrome and got the message also. I am using an iMac.
