If this starts to clog the forum I apologize and mods feel free to delete previous posts if need be.
Ok this is ground to 220 grit on the belt. I'm gonna hand sand to 400 then send off to heat treat. It's not perfect but it's better.

Are you doing pins for the scales, if so I hope your not using any of the holes you drilled in the tang. The pins will look off centered on the scales and its the first thing a lot of people see. The front pin hole is quite a bit off and will be very noticeable

It's the angle and the lightening holes. There's 3 holes for 3/16 pins that are centered. I'll post a better pic here in a bit.
#2 I did and hollowed out the tang.

One on the left is my test dummy. Gonna try a tapered tang with it. Both are prepped for heat treat. Just waiting on the fire bricks to get here.

Since I have the steel I'm doing a drop point also.

I know it looks like some step in the blade it itsxa shadow or something. I'll start hand sanding this guy tomorrow
