I got bit by my FFBM today. :o I was using my blade to cut some fabric earlier and had it laying on my table were I was doing my work. I had laid it down on the table and got up to do something. Coming back to the table I did not realize that the tip of my Busse was barely off the edge of the table. When I went to sit down my thumb just grazed the tip and....zip....opened the top-side of my thumb right up. About 1/4 inch deep! Unreal. And this is just the original sharpness. I could not imagine if it was even sharper. I have the wound wrapped up good and the bleeding has stopped.

This got me to thinking how many of you have gotten bitten (accidently of course) buy your own Busse (or someone elses) and how bad was it?

I've been cut by all my busses, they all hurt. Such is life when you play with knives.

Why were you cutting fabric with a battle mistress? You should be posting "I was cutting down this house and cut myself".

This happened AFTER I chopped down my neighbors house....

Be careful when playing with Sharp knives they can bite you. :D I've got a nice scar on one of my fingers from nine stiches and a verrry sharp  custon knife.

If your FFBM ever gets to sharp and scary  for you just send it my way. I'll be glad to send you an old dull knife that can't hurt you. :D :D

I don't think I would ever want to get cut by this as I would be missing something....

Now that's a SCARY SHARP  BLADE!!! You can see your reflection in that edge. Ankerson does'nt mess around when it comes to sharpening a knife.

The 6,000 grit Polishing tape that I finish with is equal to a 18,000 grit whetstone. :D

Pics or it didn't happen...;)

Worst cut I ever got was from my FBMLE. This happened somewhere in September, cleanly cut the tendon on top of the second digit of my righthand index finger.
It required plastic surgery to repair, and 4 months before I could pull a trigger again (I picked up shooting left-handed :D), and I only started boxing again last week. I still need to seriously warm the finger up before I can bend it beyond 90 degrees.
Such an injury happens in a split second, but I doubt my finger will ever fully recover.

But I don't own any knives that didn't bite me at one time or another. And I own over a hundred knives, lmao.
