Getting Bored with Knives again.

Nope. That's why the policy of FEEDBACK is so very important. When I trade or buy from a fellow that has 100% (or close) positive feedback over his last 10-20 transactions, I have no fear. Pictures (closeups) and good descriptions of the product are so necessary also. And if I deal with someone with very limited feedback....less than five or ten, then it is customary that he ships first so that I can inspect the knife before I send out mine. Also, keep it in your written conversation that BOTH parties will be satisfied, OR either party can reverse the transaction.
It has always been "caveat emptor" but we can try to maximize mutual satisfaction with "prior" planning.

That makes me fell a lot more comfortable with the exchange. There have been a couple post about sales or trades with knives I really wanted, but they had little or no feedback. That completely turned me off to contacting them. I know I am new to all of this bladeforums magnificence, so I have no problem sending mine first to someone with lots of feedback and longevity.

Cool! This mysterious kershaw blur that walmar is supposed to be getting has got my interest up again.

You can try:
Making knives
Collecting one specific brand or model
Move onto Firearms
Move onto Watches
Move onto Flashlights
Move onto Custom knives
?

All hobbies require funding to a large extent, you have to pay to play.

That's it, I was looking into some cool flashlights, and I have a sharp maker on the way.
I have been looking at some customs too.
I guess I have trust issues too, I have some really nice knives I want to sell or trade but I just don't feel like getting into any kind of situation that I may regret, I may go into the direction of some of these sites online that specialize in selling your knives for you, you get 75 percent of the money,
Or maybe I just got to take that leap of faith here, I only read about the bad transactions, nobody talks about the thousands of good transactions that take place on a daily basis. Don't know?

Here's my suggestion: go on a camp out or something where you actually use the knives. At least get some cardboard boxes and act like you're fighting them. Practice fighting techniques and stuff. I find that using knives is a lot more fun than just having them.

So use them for what they're meant for! GO CUT THINGS TO SHREDS! ;)

Edit: things does not include people :p

Same with me. I was away from this site for nearly two years, from July 2011 until like June this year. Posted twice in July 2012. Bought two Spyderco Military's in 2012. This year I bought a CS Espada XL. Not sure if I wlll be buying anymore this year due to other priorities. Got knives I want to buy, but not the money to buy them. Oh well.

Since I also buy new flashlights now and then, and just got one yesterday, I am spent out for awhile.

I have got about 10 knives I am not very fond of. I may try to trade on the forum for some gear I am interested in and maybe a knife. There is a spyderco I kinda want, but have seen it 3 times and just won't buy it.
