Getting frustrated...

I've edited this post as the original topic isn't valid anymore. I was waiting on an order from Darren Ellis, posted about my impatience, and got an email not 5 minutes later that the order should ship tomorrow!

The order was for an 8HT forge along with some satanite and vermiculite, btw. :D

Darren and Kathryn are busy folks, and they run a small family business on top of everything else they do. They have a great deal of items that are hard to find at other knife supply stops. I'm just impatient, and I know that they can be slow to get things out at time. I just had to get it off my chest. It's been like waiting for Christmas since I placed the order.

Dont know what to tell you other than Darren is a great guy and has always been really helpful. He's not stealing your money or anything, but he does get busy

I ordered a regulator assembly from Ellis on the 5th of this month and got it the 18th. It's missing the POL fitting, unfortunately. I'm awaiting a response, but the auto-response to my email indicated they are busy.

Thanks for the responses. I know they're good folks. In fact, I just got an email from Kathryn saying that it should be ready to ship out tomorrow!! YAY!!! I was never worried about getting ripped off or anything like that, just venting my impatience is all.

I don't know what it costs to ship vermiculite but it takes up a lot of space and should be commonly available at home depot or any self respecting plant shop, chinamart etc.

Does anybody else think satanite smells like butter toffee popcorn?
