If you are looking for a hard use knife, you can't do much better than Strider. I would check out the SNG to see if it fits you. The SMF is an absolute beast, definitely too big for me.
I think there are four folders, all production, that you should check out. I've had, or have, each of these at one time, and probably more than one.
Please note that, IMO, blade-width tells you how roughly you can treat your knife, prying, etc.
Strider SMF...the King of Beasts and is great for serious heavy-duty, military, law enforcement and the blade-width is 0.190". Good for large (LARGE) hands.
Strider Sng...smaller version of the above. blade-width of ~0.162", IIRC. Good, heavy-duty blade for average-large hands.
Chris Reeve Knives:
Sebenza 21...blade-width of 0.125" ...sort of the standard blade-width for hundreds of carry knives.
Sebenza 25...CRK's newest model, blade-width of 0.140"...same CRK Umnumzaan blade-width.
Umnumzaan...CRK's "tweaked" folder, similar to Sebenza, but more tactical appearance and usefulness.
Sebenza 21 TANTO-blade...this style of blade has thicker, heavier tip for poking into things or cutting tops out of tincans or MRE's. Note that Strider ALSO has many TANTO-style blades available.
Both brands are great; both have excellent Customer Service.
If you expect to really beat on a knife and use it for a mini-prybar sometimes, I'd reco the SMF, either spear-point or tanto blade.
If you are using it for more casual carry, I'd reco either the Strider Sng or CRK Sebenza 21 (or Umnumzaan).
I have Zero experience with MicroTech, but understand they are good knives.
