Getting just a bit worried...

All the talk about Bass Pro running out of CPM154 knives, has made me realize that they are not showing my cherished CPM154 Alpha Dorado folder any more.

Does anyone have any idea if the model is still being made?

Judging from the 2010 catalog, that seems to be the case. In 2009 they are listed as having a 154CM blade, but in the 2010 that's been changed to 12C27Mod Sanvik. The same goes for the Alpha Hunter.

Now that is a sad state of affairs. I was going to pick up a second one next payday. :grumpy:

I have no problem at all with 12C27, but I wanted that sexy BP gun metal coating. *sigh*

Knife is offered now in 420hc and 154cm. I just purchased the latter a little while ago.
