Hi All,

We were waiting to get started on our first run of Gents folders. Our ZBSC.80 steel did not arrive, so we decided to go with 154CM instead.

When we made the change, we did not tang stamp the first twenty blades. I really don't know why, but when I got to them for the final fit and finish, there were no tang stamps. These are our handmade class knives. The fit and finish is...........well, let's skip the sales pitch.............we are very proud of the knives

So............what we are going to do is laser our AC initials on the blades just to the left of the nail nick and "1 of 10" below our initials.

Because we really want you to try one of our knives, we thought it would be a good idea to sell these twenty at a "try us out" kind of price. If you do decide to purchase, when you recieve the knife, if there is anything you don't like, you can return it and I will even pay the return postage. (just don't do anything to the knife, please return it to us new just like you got it)

So here are the specs:
Amherst Cutlery Gents Folder:
Class: Handmade
Blade: 154CM
Bolsters: Stainless
Liners: Stainless
Handle Material: 10,000 year old Siberian Woolly Mammoth Ivory--Green/blue/black
Blade length: 2-1/2 inches
Overall Length: 5-1/2 inches
Leather Pouch with belt Clip
Regular Price: $295

Our "try us out" price for these twenty handmades is $199/each.

The remaining gents handmade folders to be made this year are 100 of the single bolster and 100 of the double bolster in mammoth ivory. Those will be tang stamped and lasered, "1 of 100"

Let me know if you want other photos. Happy to oblige.

Keep Good Care,

Pappy

I think you guys will be happy, I have yet to see one of their knives that I did not like and I got to see quite a few of these hand made knives at Blade. To top it off Tim is a great guy to get to know and talk to.

These hand made versions are finished off very well with high end handle material and a crisp action.

This is a pic of one that came home with me from Blade and I have been toting it almost every day since then.

(Oh yeah, and the sheaths are a very nice touch also.)

Cut me out #5 since that blade rustler nabbed #19 from under my nose. You snooze you lose.
