Getting out.

Sorry crowdog, I'm not letting loose on this one just yet. The plan is to tweak her with spare LX/XT parts I have lying around, dial in the fork, and the brakes and then ride her til she dies. But if you're looking for a good inexpensive hardtail, the GT Avalanche is the best there is.

You run a hard bargin, so I will give you 35$, 20ft of paracord, and a rape whistle...no more than that, it would be as high as I will go for her.

haha... sorry. Keep your eye out on craigslist if you want one that bad, I guarantee you if you're diligent you'll find one this cheap.

Great post bro! I think we really forget just how easy it is to get out and get away from everything when we get caught up in the day to day grind of life. Me and my friends have MANY times on a friday afternoon packed the trucks up and drove up to the Sierras. By the time we got up there it was about 10PM and damn cold but we'd find the trail, 4 wheel in, and make our way up to a SECLUDED lake at about 9000 ft. We'd all spend a couple days and nights up there shooting, fishing, and just getting away from everything. Just about all of those trips up there were spur of the moment ideas which lead to some really great times up in no man's land.

Photobucket friggin sucks! The ads alone, makes me avoid it like the plague. Try out Flickr, once you do im 100% sure you'll never switch again. No ads, excellent photo-editing software, nice layout, etc.

I've never been sure how to post from flickr without sending someone to the site. Is there a way to just embed the picture in the post like you can with image shack or photobucket with filckr?

Sure theres a way. You go to the pic you want to embed. On the new layout, you right-click on it and pick the size you want. On the old layout you pick "All sizes" (i think it was called that). Once youre at the size you want, you right-click and pick "Copy image link" and paste it in between
