....and which knife is sitting with my flashlight and other gear?

H.E.S.T. :)

Storms are about to hit in the next hour or so...this is almost 1 year to the day since the big "inland hurricane" that left us without power for 4 days! :(

Hope it's not that bad this time, but you have a damn fine knife handy.

Good luck!

Also in So. Illinois near St. Louis and we had the warnings and the siren but no reports of touch downs in the area. On the bluffs in the woods and no basement, it gets pretty scary. I hate seeing the trees all bending sideways. Had the wife in the hallway closet, I was looking southwest with my Izula on my belt. It's calm now so all is good.

They hit us hard here in Alabama last Saturday. Good luck, stay safe. And a storm sure is a Hostile Environment.

late tonight those storms will be where I am.hopefully they will have died down some.
keep dry!

I've been getting caught in the rain all week. I've never cursed Boise for anything before, but I've come close to blaming it for this dreary El Nino winter and spring. Thank God for my Kakadu drover's jacket.

Just got my hest yesterday, hasn't left my side yet.

Here in the desert we love rain and storms. haha
At least I do.

Heavy down pour and still 90 degrees is pretty great.

I'm in the desert too, but it's not warm yet :/ Just cold wet and miserable, but I'm not so sure I'd have it any other way.

We got pounded last night and almost as bad tonight. 3 people died near little rock. It was nuts.
