I boil my blades in a baking soda and water solution for about 10 minutes.....will this work? Any tricks you use to prevent rust etc later on down the line?
Add some dishwashing liquid to the baking soda and water, this will allow wetting.
After the boil I put the knife and the baking soda and water mixture in a ultrasonic cleaner and allow it to clean for about 45 min. Got this tip from Steve Johnson and Mike Lovett.
