be available for purchase and what the

i've been to your web site but found no info,
but that dosen't mean it's not there

Mdavis: You haven't overlooked a thing. It's not there, because I don't physically have any in stock right now. They're coming in with the WWIIIs. As soon as they arrive, I'll photograph them and throw them up (along with a forumite special posted here). I have no idea what they'll cost - almost certainly under a hundred bucks.

And for the others, tomorrow (weather permitting for good outdoor photographs), I am going to shoot the sirupati and the bhojpure and put them on the site, along with some updated descriptions (I just noticed that there are a few glaring errors there that need to be corrected).

Oh geeze,this is terrible news! Now I have to save for the WWIII *and* a 20"AK! I may need them both to fight off my wife when she finds out.

i don't know how many ang kholas
you'll be getting,
but i certainly want to be recipient.
What sirupati do you have available?

Mdavis: I'm ordering enough Ang Kholas to be part of the normal inventory (and promise to be better about updating my catalog page!).

As for the sirupatis, we'll be getting in plenty of 20 inchers to match the 15 inchers. The handles, if my memory serves me correctly, will be buffalo horn and rosewood.

Once I see the air waybill, I'll be able to figure the shipping cost of the new items and post a price. Got an email from Lalit this morning, and our order will be in the air this week.

Please put me down for a 20" AK when they arrive. IYHO, is the horn or rosewood more durable over time?

And, speaking of wood - I just got my confirmation from Lalit that the shipment containing the WWIIIs is on the way. Reading down the list of things he's shipping, I saw that the 20 inch Ang Kholas will come with wood handles. We're also getting in some other new models, which I'll post descriptions of in another thread.

Roger That! I'm salivating at the chance to use one myself. I wonder if they'll come with the characteristic hollowed-out portion on the face of the blade . . .
