Gharrrrr.... very stressed!

The frame stuck that 1st youtube video kind of looks like Sloth from The Goonies. I wish you all the best and I'm sure you guys will overcome.

Ah Jeez Rick! Not Québec? And I thought we had something going here. :( ;)

Hang in there. Prayers, good thoughts and smoke sent!

Ha! I am a drummer.

...umm, bro? I'm pretty sure that doesn't make you a musician. Goes like this, right...?

"What do you call that moron that hangs out with musicians?

...the drummer!"

heheh

Shit like this tends to happen to people that can hack it, and they do! You're no different. Just uglier.

And perhaps stinkier.

:)

What does it mean when the drummer is drooling out of both sides of his mouth? It means the stage is level...

You'd be surprised how many people share a similar life experience with hurt backs, moving, jobs, former large incomes much smaller due to shifting priorities and the changes one makes to adapt. I'm not religious, but I do believe that the universe won't usually throw something at you that you can't handle and ultimately things seem to happen for a reason.

Bummer.

I know the stress. I was laid off as an Attorney my job about 2+ years ago. I though having a law degree was supposed to make me "recession proof" but it did not. Took 3 months to line something up, and had to move......

And my back went out at about the same time! Makes packing up your whole life very tough!

Look on the bright side, though. You have talent, and a source of income you can take anywhere. Your knives are great, and as long as you can keep doing that, you have something.

There are no guarantees in life, some events are life changers like bad health. I had a good income, but when my Chrons became too much and the surgery left me with a colostomy I had no real choice but to take the early retirement package available then. Living on a smaller income from my pension made for some changes to my life, but in the end it was a good choice. Life carries on.

Things looking better Rick?

As I've told you, I am envious of your move. I'm from Nova Scotia and moving to where you're going would be a dream come true even though I hate lobster.:p
