• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Here is a blade I forged to look similar to Tad's awesome knife. Yes, I asked Tad's permission to have a go at it;)
And a few others I forged out as well. The Larger ones are Aldo's 1084, The smaller ones are Aldo's 01. Thinner stock but I really liked working with the 01!!

I'm looking forward to building a little forge and getting going on building some stuff out of hot metal. There's some inspiration to be found in this thread:)

Thanks again Tad for letting me try to duplicate your knife:thumbup:

Thanks Lorien! If I didn't run out of Propane, I would have run out of steel:p I can't wait to hammer out my next one:thumbup:

It's all Indian George's fault:p

it just so happens that my new bike shop has a propane dispensing infrastructure- the only propane dispensing bike shop on Vancouver Island!
