Got tired of finding a clear spot to place these when not in use.

I like that. You can just put it on the side of the work bench... as long as you make sure not to run in to it. I've seen several that are welded, but this is the first wooden concept I've seen. Thanks for sharing.

Neat idea. I've been toying with that same idea for a while. And as stated by Carl - as long as it works...

Was going to look for some square tubing but freind just said make it out of wood. Just a couple bucks later, done.

Ha ha. Wood screws in a beam and holes drilled through the tool arms is my ghetto rack. I have one with an 8" wheel,3" wheel, platen and a 2" wheel that rotates into positions. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY to heavy. Thinking about tearing it down to just the 8" and put the 3" on its own arm. Have a platen, a small wheel, a 10" wheel, and one with a slack are between 2 small aluminum wheels. Why do I need something heavy besides things like anvils and hammers. If I had it all to do over I would have made all my arms out of heavy wall tubing.

That's a great idea. I finally picked up a small wheel and built another tooling arm last week. I'll have to look around the shop for a place to use this.
