For some reason, I'm finding myself recently drawn to these after seeing a pic that quattrokid73 posted of his Bravo Necker on a different thread. Does anyone else have knives with these handles? How do you like them and pics please! :D

I have two sets of ghost green jade chopsticks made of G-11 actually.
I think it's beautiful material.

That's awesome! I think for me, this may have started with the G-10 slabs on my Spyderco Barong and Khukuri. Not quite the camo/tactical green variations, but inching closer towards something that looks classier in my opinion.

Although I'm not in the market for one, I think it looks really good on fixed blades.

Thought I read somewhere that the G-11 is more durable, but my memory is hazy on it. Something along the lines of higher temperature resistance.

I love ghost green G-10 too. It's just about taken over my obsession with orange.:D

Hi Fellas,

You'll have to forgive the shameless self promotion, but I just finished a custom knife for a customer that requested natural/Ghost Jade G10 scales with white G10 liners.

Now I'm hooked. I really like the luminous appearance it takes on in the right light. My amateur picture really doesn't do it justice. I think it would look really cool if you used a glow in the dark additive to the epoxy before you laid it up. Might try that next time.

BTW, if I remember correctly, G11 is rated for continuous service up to and including 300 F and is a wee bit stronger. Can't remember what the temp rating for G10, but I don't think there's much difference. Like 20 degrees maybe?

I'd say you could keep promotin'! :D  That's a fine blade there, and also the top photo from silkworm is awesome too.

Oh boy, that's really really nice G10!

Great looking knife! I think liners a good idea for these kind of scales. I think on my next knife I might go with black liners. Haven't decided yet and it depends on the knife.

They look like they should glow in the dark. I wonder if anyone has added that to G10? That would come in handy for a hunting and fishing knife. :)

I need to look into that. I probably need to search for a some good local dealers.

Bark River will do it for you if you pre-order through a dealer. (knives ship free ... or knife connection)

Several of their regulars on their forum have had it done.

BRK also has glow material ... but it is to thick for liners ... they use it for diagonal spacers.

I love the look of it, but I was always worried about it turning yellowish from the sweat from your hands. has this been an issue at all for you? or should it not be a worry
