The Giedymin medium-sized Wombat was purchased last year. This particular piece has a 10” blade, a 5” handle (below the guard) and a balance point directly in front of the G10 “bolsters.” The steel is 6150 and is DLC coated. The blade is full height flat ground with a deep ground swedge that tapers wider to the tip, giving weight reduction without sacrificing tip strength. The handles are removable black G10 with milled rings to simulate stacked leather and the tang is fully tapered.
This was used one time to test out its durability. I chopped wood and cut some rope and it only scuffed the DLC coating. The coating is also heavily scuffed from the kydex, which rubs quite a lot on the blade. Despite the coating showing wear, the knife itself is still perfect, with a razor sharp edge that required no touch ups.
Comes with kydex sheath, paracord, and the belt attachment it came with. Sold. Price is shipped CONUS, priority mail. Additional insurance costs extra. PayPal G&S only. PM me to transact.
