My wife has been enjoying using a lot of my knives lately for daily tasks and carrying when she takes our son for walks so I decided to modify one for her...

Got a skeletonized Swamp Rat Rat Warden
Added stabilized and blue-dyed zebra wood scales with 3/8" copper tubes for pins that were epoxied and peened flush to the inner tang top and bottom with a scrap metal bolster across the middle for extra support and contact for the epoxy. Just have to expand the tubes a little so they are round and clean out some of the epoxy that got inside.
Wax finish.
Re-sharpened the convex grind.
Sending it to a local leather shop for a sheath... She wants distressed brown.

Great job---that's a beautiful knife.

The scales are quite different and very attractive.
