Really a gem of a knife and a gem of a friend. That knife would spend more time out of my pocket making my friends jealous.
 
congratulations man! i dig that sheepsfoot blade, it will provide lots of use and looks just plain dandy. Love the bolsters as well, that takes skill to do by hand
 
My new knife from Glenn just looks so right with this other "old timey" stuff! There is a Herter`s Improved Bowie, Marbles match safe, Ray O Vac Sportsman flashlight, old brass compass, and some paper 16 gauge Super X shotgun shells. Can you tell I like this knife?

We had those in the house when I was growing up. Were my father alive today, he would be on the flashlight forums, big time. He LOVED flashlights.

How many times have we beaten those Ray-O-Vac flashlights in our palms to get them to work on camping trips...?
 
I might just be a young pup but I've seen those ray of vacs many times myself. I've also done the beating on the hand praying it beams to life.
