Hi everyone, I have a customer (I am in the home remodeling business) Who has been VERY generous to Me during his bathroom remodels, And I would like to give Him a gift of a knife, He normally carries a shrade old timer multi blade knife If that would help give anyone a Idea. He is 75 YO so I doubt he would use/carry a cyclone for example. Thanks for Your Ideas!

quince wood splinter? another alternative to the gentleman's knife but very high class

Wondering about the Nakamura, what do they mean by mokume style and outer layers of different steels???? I'm confused a bit.

What about the Kershaw Gentleman's Knife?

I agree with Brutus:thumbup: Kershaw gentleman's knife would be an excellent choice for someone who carries a slipjoint. The Micarta is a great handle material, razor sharp VG-10 blade, and brass liners. It's one great lockback, and would really say that you put some thought into it.

Good luck,
Jon

Ask Kershawguy about a 2605. They are beautiful knives. I think riffraff posted some pics of his in one of the pic threads.
