These were very popular in the 50/60s, unexpensive and very useful. Around 11.30 am and 19pm corkscrews were very busy all over the country, and not only during summer months 😊

LOL! :D I buy them whenever I see a nice one :) I have a hand-operated drill-press, which would be great for that, but a lot too heavy to put in the post I'm afraid :thumbsup:
Man, old hand operated tools like that are so cool. I bet that thing weighs quite a bit. A lot of those manual ones over in the states cost a pretty penny even if they are worn down, everyone thinks if it is old it must be super valuable. Anywho, my next big tool purchase will probably be a drill press of some sort for knife handle making.

Yeah, it's pretty heavy! :D How about this (below), which my mate Tool Man had on his market stall a few years back? :cool: :thumbsup:
