When Gigi is not forging he takes car of his heaven. A big garden where he planted many fruit trees. His fig trees are so productive that he has to look for people to offer his fruit to.

I’m curious, is there a story or reason behind this engraving pattern often seen on the bolsters of mostly (I believe) Sardinian knives?

I'm not sure there is a meaning of the special engraving . I can only say that it's made with a special tool and it's not easy at all .
