Bob Denver, 70, famous for playing Gilligan on Gilligan's Island has passed away.

Bye Gilligan, I loved the show...and Maryanne.

That's unfortunate, I didn't realize that he had cancer and heart condition. His humor was enjoyed by a lot of people over the years.

When I was a kid, two of my buddies and I would hustle through delivering newspapers after school, then go to one guy's house to watch that show. Some good memories.

I was about 6 and my Dad had a college buddy, from Marshall University in Huntington W.Va, over to study. He had a small beard and dressed quite casual.My sisters and I refered to him as Maynard G. Krebs. The "G" for Walter of course.
