Looking forward to this one guys. Funny thing is that I don't really prefer flippers and it's a hair on the large side for what I normally like. But once I saw the wood, I could not stop myself!! Besides, wanted to try out 4V. Haven't seen much gimlet burl on knives ... mostly bowls, jewelry and the like. Most often the veins and voids are filled with black. Filling with blue resin really set this one off! I would say that Alan dun good on this one .... but all his knives are great!
