Up for sale is a Big Bowie..... this is the second blade I've produced with my new "BobbWett" logo....and the first one I will be offering for sale...Specs are as follows:

The 10 1/4' blade is forged from 5160 1/4" thick bar stock. It is hand sanded to 1500 grit with 400 grit pull strokes.

The handle is Dyed and Stabilized Giraffe Bone from https://www.giraffebone.com/ It is hand sanded to 2500 grit, then polished and buffed and then sealed.

The Guard, Throat, and Pommel are all in Swamp Recovered Wagon Wheel Wrought Iron. They are forged, ground, and hand filed with Copper Accent Spacers added. The peened Pommel Pin is Mild Steel drilled and filled with a Copper Core. O.A.L. is 15 3/8". Weight is 18 oz.

Fittings and file work on fittings look great,Very nice looking Bowie.

Thanks Guys... I like working with the giraffe bone.... It is nice and dense material with beautiful growth fissures/lines..... Great practice material for fossilized materials like mamoth and walrus.... At a tenth the cost.... I will be a regular customer of www.giraffebone.com.
