I love watching this thread!

I didn't think that I would end up seeing the skills of anybody actually grow in front of our eyes. Noswad, even if you're not the winner of this gaw, you have learned a few new whittling skills, some great knife handling skills, gained some comfort with a knife in hand and increased your pain tolerance. :thumbup:

This has become one of my more appreciated and anticipated giveaways. Congrats to all of the entrants on your new found skill set.

EDIT: Forgot to say, you can't really see the root stripper that well, but it's there. Not my best as far as the root stripper goes but my best as far as all of the notches go.

The dove tail notch was the hardest notch I've ever done. Had to go south paw a few times on that one.

First off, thanks for the opportunity. Second, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I have never heard of a try stick before, what a great way to practice your skills.
Third, I cut my thumb pretty bad a little over a week ago in my dominate hand (12 stitches). It's pretty difficult to carve without your dominate thumb.
My dad has been in intensive care for 18 days, I just got home last night. It was relaxing to whittle on a stick and watch some college ball tonight.
This was the first time using the 15, I'm loving it so far.
BTW, first time posting pics.
