Give Away Time

Hello everyone,

Was gonna do it at 1000 posts, but something another user said motivated me to move up the time table. The knives here for give away were most likely never used, or if I did, very gently. Some have boxes some do not. To show and prove intent, I have provided the pictures of the knives.

1. Case slim line no box. too slim for me.



2. Case slimline with box. bought as a mistake forgetting i already had one.

how to get it? (make a post as your entry of how you have used your knife today)
1. Be a decently established member (time, fair amount of posts to traditionals or bladeforums in general)
2. consider donating to or have donated to St.Judes for user's KBA and posted in that thread ( I will not check and cannot check if you did actually donate, scout's honor or gentleman's word. there is no connection, I just thought it would be nice, and I used to help st.judes with collections in elementary school for scouts. I dont know KBA, but he seems to be a great guy, i think hes doing a donation thing for Bob too.)
3. youd like to give one of these knives a good home or find them interesting


This will run from now till thursday, 8pm ish 12/3/2015. I will need thursday and friday night to obtain all addresses and pack them. they will go out to the winners on 12/5/2015. Also, please be in the 48 CONUS, make it easy on the shipping, sorry folks outside. Winners will be selected with user name from a hat, and asked which one theyd like.

note: first time doing a give away, if i have left anything out please let me know; if not allowed, mods please let me know or close the thread.

Most importantly enjoy your knives. that is what motivated me to do this. I have too many knives sitting in their boxes :D, the user's comment inspired to actually start carrying them! thanks again for reading :), no postage necessary, must be 18 or older to participate, void where prohibited.

Very welcome GAW here and all decent stuff. I particularly favour that Böker, but since I'm in Europe and since I have a load of knives already, then I stand aside.

I like the fact that your knife-fever motivates you to do this GAW and for your contributions - you have a lot of enthusiasm:D:thumbup:

Thanks! the second I read that user's comment, i thought why not. i grabbed the jeweler's drill and began smoothing away that kick. simple mod!
 
I have donated to St. Jude's in the past. We had a family in church lose a small child to cancer several years ago, and I pray to never see someone go through that again. The Case looks like a great knife to carry to church and class, if you think a pastor in training would make a good home! I forgot the usage part. I used my small Douk-Douk to peel an Apple earlier.

That case slim line is beautiful I used my knife today to flick a splinter outta my boys finger due him messing around the log pile while I split wood. And as for the st. Judes my wife donates every year. Ty for you great offer in giveaway.

Thanks for the Gaw! Please consider me IN for this. How did i use my knife today? I have been sharpening and reprofilling some if mine.

So I think I qualify. Anyway thanks for this it's very generous. Also I used my Case Trapper to break down some cardboard this morning.

I'd love to be in on this GAW, thanks for your generosity and for making more aware of St Jude!

I used my little kiridashi I keep on my keychain to open the box that came in the mail today. Always have to have a good tool on my person!

FYI, If by chance I am selected as one of your recipients, I will use my USA address :)

Great giveaway MrKnife,

I used my knife today to cut a clothing tag off my youngest daughter's dress. Other than that I have been playing with them all day while I work/procrastinate on BF at the kitchen table.
 
Great knives you offer as GAW Sir. I am a user not collector, I buy the knives I like and use them, old and new.

I'd really like a chance at that colt gunstock, please count me in. I used my SOG Flash II to cut some paracord for a lanyard I was making earlier today.
