That’s a nice collection you got there. Not too many folders, though. Do you edc a fixed blade?
 
Man, you must have helluva strong legs and back to tote all that for EDC. Probably sound like one of those metal windchimes when you're strolling around :D

Thanks for the chance at the kydex, my BK2 is not happy about it's stock sheath. I really ought to upgrade it, especially considering all the crap I make the 2 do.

I aint a folder fan, except just to look at, I love traditional style knives....like i said I used to collect Casexx knives back in my early 20s. The yellow Case sodbuster is only folder I edc, along with a fixed blade. I usually carry an 11 or 14, but lately I been carrying the EDC knife that I won from CrimsonFalcon..great blade, very comfy in the hand. I use it for my ''town'' EDC fixed, when Im working or heading to the woods I carry the 11/14...I dont wanna ''mess up'' CFalcon's nice finishing work LOL I always have at least 2 or 3 knives one me.

I evened it up some today, mail ran with 3 folders LOL, but another fixed too.....so folders aint never gonna catch up to my fixed blade numbers I dont think.

That's a dang nice collection you got there. WAY better than mine.

And I also see that you are using the bk-11 scales that i gave you. how you liking those?

I know folders can easily seem inferior to fixed blades. But you just need to get one that suits you. Don't give up on them :)

I have one that I love and suits me to a ''tee''. The Case Soddy. I have carried it every day since 1999. or '98, I forget which LOL

I would sell every knife I own and keep the Case, if it came down to that (which I hope it dont) It is a part of me, I feel naked without it. It has never failed me and always does it's job. So if I buy more folders...they will be fondled, maybe carried for a couple days....but the Case always prevails. The new shiny folder is at home on my dresser and the old Case is back in my pocket. I have come to grips with this and accept it LOL
basically buying a new folder is just wasting money.

I love my RAT 1 but I may replace it. I just got another Spyderco Delica off one of the other forums. I do need to get one of those TDI's and one of those TIM Hunt knives too.

LOL I'm just carrying the bottom 4.

Case- right watch-pocket
Wohlwend- around neck
CrimsonFalcon- left hip pocket
TDI- right front pocket, clipped inside, handle peeking out.
 
Luckily for my wallet, my urge to binge has been temporarity sated. Having too many knives is a GOOD problem.

I DID have a bad dream last night where someone popped my hood and stole my car battery. I was like "oh well, I'll get another one tommorrow" as I walked through the garage. Then I stopped and turned around when I realized all my packs full of gear and all my Beckers and Kabars were no longer hanging up on the walls...They got taken too. I had to get out of bed and go check to make sure they were still there.

having same problem, there's a whole lotta cool stuff in this world and I just cant get my hands around it all.

Thrill, you ask how the United cuttlery tomahawk was, I did a head to head test between, Bk4,Bk9,a small norlund hatchet, the tomahawk,and a Bahco folding saw on a really hard oak pallet 2x4. I'll post the pics and results one day soon,just haven't got to it yet. Lets just say the tomahawk was not the winner. I did polish it up though. It seems to throw good and hasn't fallen apart:)
