I am starting the plunge into knife making, so far I have amassed some of the tools I will need to start my first knife. My buddy owns a machine shop and we are going to try and make a prototype this weekend, we will see how that goes. I have some rough drawings that are giving us a template to go off of. Wish me luck! Im having fun making tools to make knives. Made a bunch of attachments for this and it gets used a lot doing my regular job too.

This is pretty sweet. I've been toying around with knifemaking myself, and this would be an amazing giveaway to win and would really help advance my abilities! Obviously neither below are my creations, but I sure do love that hatchet!

Here is a Okapi knife that I rehandled with aluminum breaker bars. I removed the oxidation and patina from the blade. The pivot pin was removed and replaced with 1/16th brass pivot screws.

I'm in!! Here are some of the regular carries and for good measure, a couple of pieces that have sentimental value and sit up high on the shelf. The Fork/Knife/Spoon was my first pocket knife from my Dad back when I got my whittling chip in cub scouts.
