Oh man. I did it. I did it. I ordered my newest memeber. :D On the advice of someone I trust I ordered the 17. I was going to go with the 7, but seeing some of the reviews of the 17...I just needed it!

So....bring it on baby! I can't wait.

Now I have a lust for seeing some 17s in action or just laying around looking all pretty. Come on boys (and girls) show me what you got. ;)

I love my 17. Its a good size. Probably going to add some liners to the handles though as I need a little thicker grip.

I don't have one yet, but I will. I spent more than a year watching the tweeners develop...the whole time hardly able to wait on the drop point, later to be named the BK-16. Then after all was said and done I have finally made the decision to opt instead for the 17. Now I just need to rearrange the funds and buy one :) I think you made a good choice.

Oh my Oh my. I am making giddy little school girl sounds. I think the 17 will be a good size for me. I don't need anything huge...yet. But I did want something bigger then my 11. Hopefully when I get her she will have that just right feel. :)

The 17 is growing on me too, I like the clip point and overall look of it. Not a fan of the 7's point though (but thats an easy fix ;)).

I love my 17. Gonna go buy some stripper later and take the coating off..

I wish I could Legally carry mine. Down here theres no limit per-say the statute states that anything over 3.5 inches calssifis you as "armed with a dangerous weapon". That meaning I'll probaby get arrested.

Just south of Chicago where? Illinois law is 3" and Chicago law is 2.5". The exception to that is a hunting knife. *which the 17 certainly seems to be to be* ;) As long as you don't use it for evil intent. You should be fine.

Last time I checked Illinois law was 3.5. And Im in Tinley Park. As far as I know cook county (and Tinley) doesn't have any knife laws regarding lenght so I just go with 3 1/2

I carry mine. Been using a pocket leather pouch sheath that came with one of my Condors. Fits it like a glove.

Arkansas it's legal 100%

If I'm in Missouri, legally I can't carry a blade over 4''.

*I aint a lawyer and Laws change...so Don't rely on this info*

Here's mine... it doesn't look like it but I've used it pretty hard..... to make sheaths with:p
All work no play lately.

Mounted the sheath to a TDI Clip:

LOL! hay Eli...have u noticed that most of the time us sheathmakers post pics of knives without the middle screw? I usually have aftermarket scales on mine...so Im always changing back to factory to press sheaths. Dont need the middle screw for that! :)

Your pics are always awesome Dubz....great stuff man!

Did you get your trade? Hope it works out for ya.
