All I see is, for the most part, picture perfect positioning picture of RC knives, with guns in the background that just happen to be there at the time...

Show me pics of an RC knife that have been to war, dirty.. with trace of hard work in the field.. seem to me we all have pretty sweet looking toys but not many of us use it..

here is a pic of my izula, and rat pack knife. the izula is actually pretty used, cant say the same about the RP knife.

GLADLY!

This knife is no longer mine, but it served me well. It has a bit of color on it from either Oregon Spruce or Alder bark -I cant tell.

ah... the weird thing is.. a used knife is a sexy knife .. i think mostly, in my case, it represent the adventure i had with the knife. I have an old duct-taped olympia machete i had when i started bushcraft .. its old, dented, rusty, damaged, but can't throw it away.. going to my survival hall of fame.. years of abuse with barly no sharpening.. ever.. oh boy was it dangerous.. haha

all my esee knives get used. (the rat pack knife is the only one still wrapped up-and it will most likely stay thata ways). but the coating seems to hold up pretty well. the hest shows the most "wear" as it lights lots of fires.

Gundude: your RC3/izula still seem in really good shape.. you must take care of your izula pretty well

The Government: how long did this RC-3 stay by your side ? why did you set it free ?

sadiejane: the rat pack knife.. the one you got with no other sheathing than the rat pack survival pouch ? os its an RC5-RC6.. what is wrong with them? just curious

Furync: now you are talking... RC gore!! :D I guess in that case, you gonna have to change the paracord

I had an RC-5P.. then all hell broke loose when i joined this forum. Now (in less than a week) ordered an Izula, an RC-3MIL, RC-6 with the rat pack, molle back, accessory pouch, 3x Rat Pack Patchs.. now i am at the point where asking myself, come one Doc.. you dont need the RC4, what da hell will you do with all those ?!¿¡?¡¿!? My wallet dont wanna talk to me anymore

Man I love those HEST! Great pic.

Here's my trusty old RC-3. It's not terribly dirty, but this is the dirtiest picture I have of it.

Both my RC-3s have done game cleaning duty many, many times, but I do about 99% of my game processing alone and it's hard to hold a camera with blood and gut juice all over your hands.

hehe indeed (about the gore and camera) .. i wasn't expecting a youtube video of an RC knife being use to kill a dear live either.. thank you all for your input and keep em coming!! I like to see an RC that have been to war..

RC-4 gets lots of use in hiking and in the kitchen.

RC-5 has been splitting some wood for the fireplace this winter.

RC-3 has been getting a lot of use lately as well but isn't really showing it yet other than some light streaking on the coating.

That is very impressive guys.. and the powder coating (or whatever that it) seem to be really strong on the RCs
