Give it to me straight -- a celebration of coping, lambsfoot, sheepsfoot, and wharncliffe blades.

Wow, I didn't realise that :( Here they measure from the front of the bolster, so I think it just scrapes in
I make it 3.25" from point to bolster. Anything over 3" here is a dangerous weapon. It'll get plenty of yardwork soon.

Yikes! I never realised! o_O :( Here, anything over 3", you have to be able to justify having a reason for. Since I mainly carry the Big 'Un if I'm going out hiking, I don't really anticipate any problems. Bad that it has to even be considered though :(

I thought this pic might fit in here ;) :D

Single spring with clip and sheepfoot blades may be the ideal pattern for edc. Getting anxious to see Buck's soon coming interpretation of the pattern. BTW, anyone know of or have a single spring, opposite end, clip with coping blade combo? I'd really like to see one.

This one might be what you are asking after.

Schatt & Morgan Keystone Series XVI from 2006 Bradford Green Bone. The oddly named Serp Moose. These knives were a yearly series from c.1991-2008. Not to be confused with some of the last gasp offerings from Queen who seemed to put the Keystone shield on everything, irrespective of size or suitability....

I thought you were ok with a 3" cutting edge (tip to plunge, excluding the tang).
I try to err on the side of caution, since I'm fairly big, ugly and seedy, and people don't seem to realize how old and feeble I am.
