Give two of your favorite all around edc traditional knives.

I've got a similar routine with my ebony pemberton...pemberton in my watch pocket and the "knife of the day" in my rfp. Although I've been really tempted to try an alox SAK in place of the pemby, never had one, but hear nothing but praise for them.

GEC Jack 25 and any other "daily" knife,lately Harness Jack,or 73 :)

One of my favorite EDC's;

Rock solid slip joint lockup, and clip point, the ultimate in utility. And some good lines, nice looking. Nothing else in this world like a single blade trapper.
This will get me through the territories, the long moonlit nights in wilderness deserts, the wicked canyon country traverses, the wild places. This and a well supplied pack.

Oh yeah, we get to choose between two, well second choice would be...

If I have to name just two specific models, I would currently pick The GEC Tidioute #15 TC Barlow with marrow bone covers and a single spearpoint blade, and a Victorinox red BSA Tinker with BO tools customized by Syph007.

Of course this will probably change by next week (especially because I just received my new antique yellow jigged bone #15 Radio knife in the mail today).

Generally I would pick a Victorinox 93mm Alox (Soldier/Pioneer/Farmer) or a 91mm (Spartan/Tinker/Climber/Explorer), and a GEC Tidioute #15 or a GEC Northfield #85 EO Linerlock. I also like the 84mm Alox Cadet quite a lot as well. It's difficult for me to pick just two knives, but any combo of the knives that I just previously mentioned would suffice for my all around use, and for edc.

My two favorite everyday knives would have to be; 1st GEC's 73L in Eboney ,

2nd would be GEC's 73L also in Eboney.

Well, I suppose the Case smooth chestnut bone mini-trapper that pretty much rides in my pocket all the time and is my EDC. Occasion it will get changed out to the Queen single jack in Winterbottom, that Charlie tossed in a package to me a few years ago, or my Victorinox Tinker, but I seem to always end up back with that mini-trapper.

In the left pocket is a very battered SAK Classic with the scales falling off. It get's carried except when it gets left in a pocket and goes through the washer. I wouldn't call it a favorite that handles my EDC needs as it's a sort of secondary, special use knife.

So, I guess it's the mini-trapper most of all. While I don't carry it much, I do have a strong fondness for my bone handled Remington Musket-1 Granddaddy Barlow that is surprisingly very pocketable. If I was going to narrow it down to a first and second, those would be it.

Would you show us some pics of your custom SAK? I'd love to see it.

@SAK Guy

Bro, you lovin' that F&F GEC? I have one on my list!

I like a simple knife like this and I like a lockback. I'm partial to orange, too;) I'd get one of these if I were you, and fatten the deal with one of their other styles similar to this one. Just because:D

This F&F fits snug horizontal in the bottom of the change pocket on my overalls (on the bib) and the lanyard hangs out making it easy to get at, pretty close to the same deal in the watch pocket on jeans.

I see this being my "small knife" for quite some time to come, I'm very happy with it.

Thanks bud! Your positive comments just moved it up on my list!!!! :thumbup:

I'm fairly partial to my yellow Case Trapper. It has a strange brownish-grey patina, I love the size, and slices apples like a demon. One of my favorites carries. I also like anything with a 2-1/2 inch spear or clip blade. Vic Recruit, Buck 303, Schrade 34OT, a newly acquired Imperial Barlow with plastic "shell" scales are all fair game, right?
