Give up

I'm having the same problem as Walt. I can't reduce to 100 k or below & I'm using JPEG . Can someone explain how to reduce to 100K.

Thanks ,
Joe Sangster

Reduce the size. I use 680X480 on all photo's that might be posted on a forum.
If it's still too big, reduce the size again. You can type in smaller sizes, or there's probably an option to reduce by 25, 50, 75%. Try the smallest first.;)

Walt, I received the photo of that knife. I just lightened it up, and added some contrast. Took me about a minute, and that included getting in, and out of the program.
I'll put them side by side.

Mike,I have been trying to post a picture on this forum for 2 yrs ! I may have succeeded with your help. Thanks, joe :)

Walt great job on the knife! I like the design. Looks like you're doing great with your grinding. I went crazy trying to post pics at first. :grumpy: Now with my website I just host them from there. I wish BF gave more size to post pics. You loose so much when they are downsized. My problem is I have to scan pics because the port is bad to hook my digital camera directly to the computer. Too lazy to get it fixed. I also have photo shop to make adjustments to the pics. It took me four months to figure out how to put up a custom avatar. I'm learning as I go. Just like everything else, I end up teaching myself thru trail and error. :)

Glad it helped you. You can though post larger photo's. The pic you posted is no bigger than the thumbnail image. But, you'll get the hang of it shortly.:D ;)
