I have a 6" drop-point blade knife with a natural micarta handle that Bryan made for me to use when I was in Iraq. Now that I am no longer there, I would like to pass this on to a deserving soldier/sailor/airman/Marine who is heading to or is already serving in the "Box." Of course, this includes Afghanistan as well!

This will be on a first-come/first-serve basis. Please contact me here on the forum if you can use this.

Thanks!

Just my way of helping out a little, Mike. Affording a decent knife on a young soldier's pay can be quite difficult at times.

Wow. That is an awesome jesture.

I'd jump in but I'm not sure if my boy will end up there. He leaves in July for Great Lakes to begin Recruit Training. He then goes on to Hospital Corpsman training.
There is a chance he will see some sand with the Marines but it'll be a while.

If no one else chimes in that is closer to going or alredy there, I'm sure my son would appreciate being considered.

Thank you for serving and thank you for making such an outstanding offer.

I am on my way to Korea here in a couple of months, does that count, ;) that knife would be just the thing to cut my Bulgogi and Kimchi. :D:D

Good on you for doing this, I hope some young troop that really needs and appreciates it chimes in. I know when I was a young PFC or Specialist I would have traded part of my anatomy for a knife like that. Chris

I just gotta say SEMPER FI!!

Thanks for doing this.

Caine,

Will get it sent out tomorrow to you. I figured you would know of someone who could use it! I've spent a few hours airborne down there over FOB Warhorse...as well as over most of Northern and Western Iraq between February, 2005 and October, 2008! I had 33 months "boots on ground" time there when I left in October last year. I am "old" retired AC-130H Spectre gunship guy who was running an airborne surveillance program for MNC-I C-2.

Hi Ron been a while since I seen ya post. That offer you are making is just awesome.

Way to go,

Bryan

Great gesture.

Thanks to everybody, who has been, is, or will be serving the US.

Peter

Bryan,

I figured that great knife you made for me needed to be back where it was made to serve. I still have and use frequently, my Pathfinder you made for me. And I must admit, I sure am intrigued by your "Peacemaker" knife! I may just have to order one.

Thanks,
Ron

Hi Ron, Way to go. Knives like that one just feel better when they are close to the action. I am just getting ready to put handles on another Pathfinder with a 4" blade for a customer. They just have neat feel. Yea the Peacemaker is and intriguing knife;).:D

Caine Nice score on the CSK.

Take care and chat with you later.

Bryan

That is very cool, awesome!!!
I would've thrown my name in the hat also but I don't leave till July.

What an awesome testament to the comradery of the folks here at WSS! Ron, thank you for your service and your continued service for our troops. This is what a Breeden knife was born to do!

Caine,

The knife went out Priority Mail today to SGT Matt Webb. I hope he enjoys owning and using it!

Ron

First things first Ron...Thank you for your service.
What a generous offering, Ron!
May it serve SGT Matt Webb well!
Prayers, Safety & Thanks for all who serve.

How generous. Many have served in my family and I thank them and you everyday for your time, energy, effort, and courage to keep freedom alive.
