Thanks for the chance. For the past few years we fry up a turkey in peanut oil in a big pot. I think it's even better than oven roasted. We always have frog eye salad which is tapioca. Dunno where the name came from but it's tradition.
Count me in! Thank you for your generosity and the opportunity!
I don't have any family traditions that come to mind outside of making lots of food and eating lots of food. But I do like it when I get to visit my wife's family in NC. We get to go to her grandparents' cabin with her cousins and we have target practice with her grandpa's BB gun and 22 revolver. He and I also sit and whittle. Good times. Thank you and take care!
I'm in. The only tradition I can think of was that my dad used to buy my mum wooden spoons for Xmas every year. She was always breaking them on my arse when I got a spanking for being bad.
That is awesome! Thanks so much Parke1 for the generous giveaway! I will be paying if forward here shortly by doing a giveaway of my own. Thanks again!
Congratulations, Maverick! Enjoy that true blue trapper.:thumbup:
Thanks again, Dan, for your generosity and for the idea of having folks share holiday traditions. It's fun and interesting to learn a little more about those who populate this wonderful place!
