Thanks, guys, for the traditional forum. I sort of practice a "read more, post less" philosophy in traditional because I am humbled by the knowledge, information and insight available here.

I acquired this knife at a local independent hardware store because I have a friend on the inside. It's never been used, but it has been altered. I ground a bit from the kick of the sheepsfoot blade because it was a little proud for my taste. I also sharpened the blades. I bought this knife for my pocket, but a few days after it's purchase I was given the very same knife by a good friend, with miles already on it.

Once again, my thanks to all those who contribute.

Your first post, selected by a random number generator. If a subsequent post is selected, I'll redraw until I get a first post.

Drawing will be held 6/5

-Rog

There are two other giveaways, as well. One in W&SS and one in the cove.

Very generous give away Rog, I've also modified some of my Case knives as you did on the sheep foot blade.

I'm only a lurker here and I'm not deep into slippies - waiting for my 3rd - Boker Copperhead - with Case Slimline Trapper in my pocket, and I only wanted to say that Traditional subforum is outstanding - a lot of info, serious discuss and great people :)
Please, don't count me into giveaway, I don't deserve it, I'm only a lurker, as I said.

Thanks for the chance! I also like to file down the kick on sheepsfoot blades.

Thank you for your generosity. Out of all the subforums, this easily the most pleasant, helpful, and appreciative.

This is not an entry; I already have 3 6318s :)

Actually, I changed my mined. This is an entry. The 3 6318s I have are vintage, and one (a 1973) is quite a bit different than the other 2 (1978, 1980). I'd like to get my hands on a modern one so I can do a comparison (which of course I'll post in detail with photos) between old and new. If I happen to win, I'll do my comparison, then promptly turn around and re-giveaway the knife again.

Thanks for the giveaway Rog, this forum tends to get the most of my time, i like the old knives and new renditions of the older patterns, let's not forget the friendly knowledgable people here.

BTW, I love them Case CV yeller handled knives.

Great give away!! Thanks for doing it. I am not entering, just wanted to thank you for the give away. - Ed J
