Well, this bad boy arrived today and I'm quite impressed with it so far.

NTS definitely did a great job touching up the edges on this one as it is now quite sharp. In fact, I was a little careless opening all the blades to get the above shop and let the sheepsfoot blade bite me in the process. Fortunately it was very light contact, so it didn't cut too deep.

The tension on the springs is very nice. Not too tight on any one blade, but pretty stiff when opening both secondaries.

All-in-all, this is a very nice knife. It is a smaller frame than my Schrade 8OT, so I'm looking forward to evaluating that as well as the Case CV.

Thanks again to NTS for this generous giveaway.

Regards,

Josh, remember the steps in displaying a multiblade slipjoint - step 1: open all the blades, step 2: wipe off the blood.... :D

It's a great looking knife - I'm sure it will be a great companion.

Hey Dwight. It seems like I remember someone mentioning how easy it is to get cut when opening all the blades on a multi blade slip joint. I've done it with the 8OT without issue, but the stiffer spring is what threw me off here. I do like the added tension though as I feel the Schrade is a little soft.

I am really liking the Stockman pattern. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a medium Stockman. I carry a small Stockman pattern now and want something a little bit larger.
